Dr. Deepak Reddy grew up on the South Side of Chicago. After graduating with high honors from the University of Michigan, he returned to the University of Chicago to complete medical school at the Pritzker School of Medicine. He then became a resident with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery where his interest in spine surgery began.

After residency, Dr. Reddy completed the prestigious Norton-Leatherman Spine Surgery Fellowship in Louisville, KY – the second oldest spine fellowship in the United States with more spine fellows trained than any other program.

He now strives to provide the best care experience for his patients focusing on conservative care and customizing the operative plan for each patient to achieve their unique goals of surgery and attempting to minimize their complications.

“My goal is to make sure each patient is successful and satisfied,” said Dr. Reddy. “To me, every patient is an individual with their own particular set of circumstances, so we custom-tailor a treatment plan to fit them and their needs.”

Dr. Reddy practices at the forefront of spinal surgeons with a technology-forward practice focusing on robotics, 3-D printing, minimally invasive and revision spinal surgery. In addition, he enjoys a robust cervical practice with referrals from around the Midwest for second opinions, work-related injuries, independent medical evaluations, and complex reconstructions.

He prides himself on connecting with his patients on a personal level and really excels at simplifying complex topics so that patients can understand both their problem and the proposed solution prior to surgery.
